Men's new sexual needs These days, guys have a hard time asking for what they want in bed (crazy stuff! corny stuff!). But they told all on these pages. Of course, whether they get what they want is up to you! By Peter Rubin
For 30,000 years or so, men's sex needs were fairly consistent. We wanted sex as often as possible, and we would go to great lengths--buying daisies, attending 17-hour operas, acknowledging Hallmark holidays--to get it. It was a pretty good system. Welcome to 2008! It takes a lot more than daisies to satisfy you now. And as we men navigate our way through a landscape of ubiquitous porn, designer sex toys and Craigslist hookups, our needs have gotten a little more complicated too. We're loving the experimentation, but missing some of the old sexual standbys; wowed by your bedroom confidence, but a little intimidated by it too. As Seth, 32, puts it: "I'm finding sex to be more challenging, freaky and amazing, all rolled into one." I asked dozens more regular guys and a few forward-thinking experts to sum up today's sexual vibe. Here's what I found out. Now you know what you're dealing with!
